Celebrity Cruise Hosted by Matthew Rhys, FXs ‘Phillip Jennings’ of The Americans. Cruise with us around the island of Manhattan on a 4 hour cruise with Actor Matthew Rhys. Dinner will be catered by GP’s Italian Restaurant. The First: Best Friends Animal Society a non profit organization (Best Friends Animal Society for Texas Hurricane Harvey shelters which are supporting both displaced pets and adoptable ones affected by the floods)

The Second: 50% is to directly benefit Omnia Salem, the daughter of the recently deceased coworker and friend Yasser Salem, whos surviving wife is blind and sole care taker of their 14 year old daughter Omnia. Funds will be put into a managed fund which has been set up to benefit his daughter Omnia and future educational needs.

About Yasser:
Yasser Salem was a dedicated husband, father, and NY Waterway employee, He was a loving husband to his first love who lost her eye sight during their engagement. His love never faltered which was evident in their brining Yasser’s second love into his life – his daughter , now 14 years old. Yasser had recently returned to work after an 8-month recovery from slipping on black ice, injuring his back and breaking his right hand and ankle. Ten days after returning to work, Yasser suddenly passed away leaving behind his wife who is completely blind and 14 year old daughter. At the young age of 55, Yasser leaves a void in the hearts of many. Being the sole provider to his wife and daughter. 50% of the funds raised from this event will be put into a trust for his daughter.
