There are still a lot of restrictions on gatherings in both New York City and New Jersey. As this looks set for a while to come yet, many couples who are anxious to tie the knot are giving up on their hopes for a big bling-bling wedding nuptials. What restrictions are in place?
Right now – yachts and boat charters can take 20 people out of NJ and up to 25 from NYC. If the yacht is certified to carry more than 100 people, then it may carry 25% of maximum capacity, which is 50 if you charter a boat with a 200 person capacity. We currently have a fleet of 8 yachts in NYC/NJ area.
What does it cost?
For up to 6 people, mid-week, this can run as low as $299 per hour (or $600 for 3 hours) to $750 per hour for 12 capacity and $1,000 per hour for 20/25.
What dates are available?
Because of the harsh winter, yacht and boat charters typically run in the summer months – June through September, so you still have all of August. There’s also a lot less involved in booking a yacht – and in most cases, a booking can be made in under an hour! So what are you waiting for?
